                                     JEAN CHORCOT
French explorer and sailor. He was born in France(1867) and dead in 1936. He has  discovered new lands, and has researced about the sea.
 In 1903, he sent a letter to his friend Pleneau and wanted to learn if he wants to travel with Chorcot.
Pleneau has replied the letter and said that: "It's okay, Wherever and how long  you want". Then they started to discover.  so  new sea maps was created because of them. After 1925 Chorcot had some researchs on the Grönland with his ship, called "pourquoi pas"(why not?) . in 1936 he has sank  with French  crews, when he was carrying Victor and his friends (the chief of French Polar Company)   with Pourquoi Pas.

GIGER BAR, CHATEAU ST GERMAIN / SWİTZERLAND

Swiss Graphic Designer H.R.Gıger (awarded oscar) has designed this surrealistic bar for "Ailen" film. It took two years. And ıt looks like spine of a monster. When you re walking in this bar you will think that you are getting into stomach of the monster. From  ceiling to walls, from chairs to tables,-all parts of this bar created detailed. In Switzerland you can find two bars similar.

ICEBAR, JUKKASJARVI/SWEDEN:

Yes, you know there are many ıcebars in the world even in your cities. But this bar is nearly polar circle. so it is really original. This bar was created by ices which were bringed from Torne River. Jukkasjarvi is the first permanent icebar in the world. the bar is -7 degree(C) everyday of the year. When you're entering bar, staff gives you  pelerin and gloves. You have 40 munites to stay in this bar. After you leave from bar, you should go somewhere hot for your healt.

This bar was a brothel, then it has became Russian cabaret. and now it is a VIP club , if you have much money on your pocket and if you're well dressed, You can hang out here. The night is 2 parts here. First part, You can eat caviare and drink vodka. At the same time, you will watch some shows such as Burlesk,..  Second part, After 23.00 The most famous DJ's play Electro music all night.
If you want to enter here you have to be well dressed if you are not, you can't enter here.(Reservation is not enough)
